If i go to 285s will i need a new T.C? and axles?

Rovertym and OME (old man emu) are your best choices for the lift. the 285's will be at the limit some will tell you of your axles capabilities. I've been running 33's for about 6 months now with no problems yet. Your transfer case will be just fine with the tires.

3 in spacers for the lift? I wouldn't recommend that course of action as with worn springs and that thick of spacer your setting yourself up for disaster. This is what most people refer to as a bad idea.
Do a proper lift you'll be better off in the long run. Unless of course your talking about an old series truck and not a Disco series 2
