Default New RR owner/new to boards

My name is Nick and I am from Washington State. I just purchased a 1995 Range Rover Classic LWB. I will be picking it up today and am very excited. I have checked out this site and many others doing research on range rovers and look forward to posting pics and sharing stories.

Nick

Cool, what color is your '95? My new '95 LWB just got here from Texas (to replace my wounded '95 SWB) and I am so excited! This is my first time with the 4.2 engine and the 8 extra inches... Also, because my truck was owned by an LR A-technician, she still has her airbags (the second they go, I'm doing the coil conversion, but this will be fun while she lasts). Maybe I'll post this somewhere else, but here's a question:

Besides the obvious, what are some differences to note about the '95 SWB versus the '95 LWB. I have 13 years driving the SWB (and the same amount of time driving a Disco 1 btw with a clutch). Tomorrow is Day 1 of the LWB. Can't wait!

Well I have it. I will take some better pics shortly. It is in grest condition. Has bilstein shocks all the way around instead of the air bags, but pretty much everything else works. Power memory seats in great condition (seat heater not working) power mirrors, heated windshield, ...everything else in perfect order. I need to replace the top tailgate latch though.
Runs perfect.

Thank you! I have since purchased a nice roof rack and a grill guard from a local junkyard. Got a great deal on both. I will post a pic once I am able to get the grill guard on.

Only in the NorthWest. A junkyard that had a brushguard and a roof rack for a Rover. Damn baby, damn...
