New From WA State with 1999 Disco 2
Hey, all. I've just joined, but I've been lurking for a few weeks. I've got a Discovery II that I picked up about 5 days ago. I've already been off road once, and this is the most capable 4 wheel drive I've ever owned.
I've had two 1st Gen 4Runners, one 2nd Gen 4Runner, a '85 Toyota Pickup, a Toyota Tacoma and still have an FJ40.
The Land Rover, hands down, is the best of these vehicles, (though I'll never part with my FJ40).
To be fair, the 5.5 inches of lift and auto lockers front and rear help.
At any rate, I'm mostly here to learn, but will be checking in about every day to learn about my new quirky Disco2.
