OK, so I'm originally from England but have been in the US nearly 10 years now, currently in Wilmington NC. I'd been a jeep guy until a RHD Series III FFR 109 appeared on craigslist and I couldn't help myself. I'll post more about my plans as time goes by but right now just thought I'd say hey.
Thanks, it's great to be here (the forum and the US!). I love the area, we moved here a year and a half ago from the midwest which was nice but you can't beat the ocean and mountains.
yea man , your close to the beach right ? some areas down there you can drive on the beach i.e. outer banks . nice truck . what did that set you back ?

Welcome to the board,……. Series rovers are spread fairly thin in the Tarheel State but we’re here and about. Have to say I did not realize such a set of rims could be had for a series.
Steve (2manykids4a7), welcome to the forum. I want to compliment you on your recent purchase. it looks to be a keeper. I'm sure when you drive down Market Street people will be doing double takes....LOL ( Mommy, theres that sick piece of work driving that green thing), Good luck mate......................007

We usually take the kids to Wrightsville beach, as long as you don't try to go in the middle of the day in the summer it isn't too crazy. You can't drive on the beach there but you can just down the coast in Carolina beach.
The previous owner had some kind of conversion kit built that allowed him to get the chrome rims on there. Personally I like the stock look better, but to each his own, if anyone is interested in finding out where he got the kit done, I can find out.
I'm looking forward to cruising around town and seeing peoples reaction, I need to get everything running "smoothly" and safely first.
Life is kind of crazy right now, so it went to the shop to get the brakes done and the engine tuned, it was either missing or having some major carb issues.
I also posted in the series section looking for advice on getting set up so the family can all fit.
