What's a decent D1 paint job apt to cost? (Am in SoCal)?

Hey all... any general ranges as to what's a good price for a (black) paint job?

That can range from the condition of the surface, if you are changing colors and the quality of paint. $1000 to $4000 is a safe range.

$30 for a few gallons of oil based paint in the color of his choice.

by one of the more reputable, and also expensive shops in town, i was quoted 5k for pull+paint for a coupe, the disco is twice the size!

but they take each panel off and fix any dings and bring the car to showroom quality. price is dependant on the quality of the job
