Arrow ...And 'This' Is Why There Is No Shine Like Mother's

Cleaned up the Disco a bit earlier this morning since I've washed it countless amounts of times at the touch less car wash and it won't even attempt to try and get the hard water spots and junk off of the paint from the flood water we had been driving through a while back.

So it's been a good while with this flood water junk on the paint, baking out in the sun, with dirt, mud and who knows what else on top of it, and yet. Using nothing but the Mother's instant detailer it shines like this once again.

See the difference?

I also used some of the Mother's Back To Black on the mirrors, snorkel, and the license plate light cover.

Looking good! I like the Meguires Cleaner Wax and then the Gold Class Polish on top.

I wash my DII because it's my DD. Plus I live in the land of salt and rust. But my DI only gets the occasional rinse (but only in the winter).

i feel bad that i don't wax my D2 as much as i did my mustang. I haven't put another coat on my 04 in a few months, luckily water is still beading on all the panels (what happens when you do a few coats of quality wax), but my roof only got a shitty coat last time... roof racks = shitty wax coats on the roof. waxing my roof takes nearly as much time as the rest of the body panels combined with the hannibal rack up there.

It takes 2 hours to get this thing shiney and then I have to drive through sprinkler overflow in the suburbian neighborhood streets and its all for not. I do weekly washes in the driveway and a once a year visit to the detail shop, usually after winter.

I think the flowers in the wheelbarrow in the yard is a true sign of who StreetQueen really is. It's all coming together now.
