But are Monroe's acceptable for Land Rovers? How about the potential effect on the three amigos?

That's a sensor issue (tres amigos), so brake pads won't fix it.

Yes, Monroe does make brake pads for Land Rovers. However, they aren't made for ALL of them or some have only fronts available, rears only or both. It all depends on which LR you own.

That is something Land Rover and the aftermarket part manufacturer(s) determine (what is available, if it will even be made, etc).

We are a direct retailer of Monroe parts (shocks and brake pads).

I'll gladly answer any questions you may have.

What I believe he was asking was the effect using Monroe brake pads on the DII would have. They are sensitive to junk/cheap pads that cause squealing heavy dusting or chattering. These problems generally will affect the 3 amigos causing the system to fault causing a costly trip to the dealership for a reset.

As it I would stay away from them till we have more info on the pads and mfg of them. Nothing against monroe or the vendor, just no reason to give yourself a headache for a cheap set of pads.

There is plenty of aftermarket support for the front pads on a 91 Range Rover just not monroe. Pretty much every major player out there carries the pads for them. Monroe just hasn't chose to step up to the plate and carry them.

If you don't mind who is the mfg of monroe pads?

Ok, thank you for the clarification. You can decrease the build up of dust with ceramic pads (if you can find them for your vehicle) would be my recommendation. They don't get as hot or produce as much dust. I'm not for sure if these would fix the three amigos issue with LR's.

We only carry the Monroe Dynamics for your vehicle and you are right, only the rears are available from Monroe (aftermarket).

Monroe is the parent company; they have been around and making auto parts since 1916. They bought out Rancho (shocks) in 1990 as well and still own and operate Rancho separately.

Nothing will fix the 3 amgios issue with LR's most just don't want to add another excuse for them to come up

So monroe makes their own pads then?

Interesting, from what I have read they have been able to resolve that issue.

Yes, Monroe makes both shocks and brake pads.
