Default 1957 series 1 paint colors and codes

Greetings all and Happy Thanksgiving to all Canucks,

I need to repaint the rims and safari roof and all the other bits.

The original colour (judging by the last colour peeling is an airforce blue and the roof and rims an off white (olde Englishe?)

Does anyone know the actual colour names or manufacturer and code references?

Also posted a note in wheels about tires.

Cheers, jenni.

look here for automotive paints. You are looking for "Limestone".
VanIsle Land Rover Network: Information

You can also get a can of Tremclad that is very close. Check out Canadian Tire.

Jenni,

RAF Blue/Grey is a BS381 paint colour #633. Check this website e-paint.co.uk. Someone local to you may be able to match it with a paint sample.

Error! I read a question on the other post and answered it here. Limestone is for the white roof and later wheel colour. Series one had body coloured wheels; I don't know what year they changed them to Limestone. The body colour would be as mentioned, Blue/ Grey.
