I have just begun rebuilding my old series 3 88" (having bought it back 7 years after I sold her) onto a galvanised chassis. She will be coil sprung with Disco axles. I would like to keep the 2.25 petrol engine and would ask if it is possible to fit a 5 speed landrover gearbox onto the existing engine? If so which box is going to prove the least hassle to fit/convert?
Many thanks Hugo ![]() |
