Hey all,
i was wondering if someone could take a picture of their gas pedal and where the lines run in order to get my accelerator cables lined up. i have some spare parts to properly assemble everything but i am unsure how to route them through the bulkhead. as of now, the previous genious rigged up a bicycle shifter cable up to the throttle and pedal. Thanks for any help, LP |

Hey all,
sorry for the lack of communication, i have a 1979 series 111 truck 2.25 diesel from the diagrams it looks like for the diesel motor i need an accelerator cable, rod springs and a pulley. As of now, all i have in my rig is a gas petal which has a bicycle brake cable attached to the top of the petal. there isnt even the full assembly for the linkage or pullys or anything... i understand from the diagrams what i need, i just wanted to see it on someones rig so i know where everything goes and what else i need to buy to get this functioning properly. Thanks, LP |

Throw away everything original that you still have and buy a Defender accelerator pedal and cable for a 200Tdi. You'll only make yourself crazy trying to build up a series diesel accelerator linkage assembly.
