I am about to go check out a '73 Series III and if all goes well I will add it to my Rover stable. I have a ton of questions tumbling through my head but will wait till I can get my eyes on it before I ask those... Until then, I am wondering if a Defender external cage/rack will fit a Series III? And if so, how hard are they to find?

I don't think that a D rack/cage will fit on a series truck, but then again I have been wrong before. I believe that the tubs are too different.

check out protectionandperformance in the uk. They have some cool designs and photos for ideas. Be kind of hard to take the roof off so for me Im fabbing/designing an internal cage. Too hot in Florida! Gordo.
PS: If you are designing your own Id recommend saying this site to your favorites. You dont want to cut corners with safety. Gordo http://www.alrc.co.uk/new%20regulations/rbindex.htm
