Unhappy Carburettor Problem

Hi guys,
I've got a 1978 2.25 Series 3 SWB, having problems with the butterfly flap sticking in the Webber carburettor. Got any ideas about fixing it, or does the carb just need taking off and a good clean out?
Thanks very much

Default Carb clean

Try a can of carb cleaner. You spray it inside the barrel and takes off a lot of the muck. Might work and for not much spent. I've used it before and cleans it up, although I didn't have any sticky parts.
