Dinghy tow/ flat tow - Land Rovers Only

Does anyone know if you can dinghy tow aka flat tow a 1964 Series IIa 109?

Just bought an rv, and would like to take it along.

Unlock your front hubs, put your transfercase in neutral, and put your gearbox in gear. Watch your RV gas gage plummet.
