Default Distance Piece over sized?

First we took the old distance piece off with a chisel as suggested in the green bible. Next we put the new one on without effort (it just slipped on). I purchased the parts from Atlantic British. The part was made by britaparts i think... please advise.

Default Should be tight

I think you might have the wrong piece. It should be tight enough that you cannot slide it on by hand. Ask them to check the part number again. If it is correct part number, return it and order from another source.
Good luck!

I had that happen on my order, one distance peice slid on. In my case it was not the distance peice that was the issua (all the other ones slid on the same) it was wear on the stub axle...... check to see if the other peices slide on the same way. However, it is not unheard of for the machining of the interior diameter to be a touch out. But I think you might be looking for a new stub axle...... (sorry to say, or having that one sleeved..)
