Default ex manifolds and preasure plates

hi can any body tell is the ex manifold the same on the 2 1/4 diesal and the 2.5 diesal lumps.......... and if i in tend to use the 2.5 fly wheel on the series box ive just got to swap the plates over and use the 2.5 preasure plate???

Depends what the 2.5 originally came out of as to the type of exhaust manifold,you can swap the 2.5 one for the 2.25 one and as for the clutch just use the 2.25 one as the one fitted to the 2.5 may not be the correct pressure plate on the 2.5 as again they vary depending on the vehicle the 2.5 was taken from.

Question clutch and ex manifold

thanks for info ......ok the engines is out of a 86 landy and still has fly wheel and starter on the houseing i was hopeing that the manifold would fit of my 2 1/4 and as iam useing the 2.5 ...9.5inc fly wheel iwas gonner use new outer cover from a 2.5 then use a new plate for a series 3.......

yes the 2.5 cover will work with the plate as long as the box is a series 3 box and the mani will fit no problem.

Default one more nightmare

thanks ....onslow thats took a loot of stress of me i got one more thing would my series metal engine mount brackits fit the 2.5 landy engine as my 2,5 has none ........thanks again

If I remember rightly the pass side one will fit if the is engine out a 90/110 then I think the injector pump fouls the dvrs side mount I think this one will need altering or maybe need to fabricate one
