hi there people - just chanced upon this site and good to see how many similar problems we are all experiencing and sorting out. gotta love those landys huh!!!
so im about to start draining, flushing and refilling my cooling system on S3 lightweight but just wondered if anyone out there could give me a detailed breakdown of what has to be done or a link to someone that knows before i begin and do somthing wrong!!! cheers.... |

Thankfully there's not a lot to this. 1.Open up the heater valve if you've got one to allow the heater core to drain. 2.Open radiator cap 3.Open drain plug on radiator if you've got one, or remove the lower hose. 4.catch fluid, usual precautions... 5.check condition of all hoses and clamps, this is the time to replace if you need to. 6.clean and refill overflow tank 7.refit plug or lower hose 8.fill system, 50/50 mix, distilled water and coolant 9.fire up engine to get water pump circulating and fill heater core 10.check fluid level in radiator, fill as necessary 11.fit radiator cap 12.check fluid level until stable Bogatyr
