Default galvanic corrosion protection

I am really cheap, sorry, and so I was attempting to stop the corrosion between my aluminum and steel parts when I had an idea. I have been using thin plastic spacers between the two parts. The source for my plastic spacers are my empty cat litter containers. I bought a hole saw kit from Harbour freight and I quickely zap out prefect circle washers with a hole dead center. I have used this on my floor boards and the military angle irons on my wings and my rear tub. It also has helped out on my seat belt anchors.

Yes, you need to separate steel and aluminum with something non-conductive. Or use galvanized fasteners.
