Default Galvanized Parts Needed

I am restoring a 1966 109. I am missing all the galvanized parts (actually the parts have been with shop for 8 months and I am loosing hope that they will return in my lifetime). Therefore I plan to replace them rather than waiting an eternity for their return. Where can I purchase the galvanized parts for the 109 (window frame, door etc). Your help is greatly appreciated.

When I did my 110 over, I wanted to use Galvy body cappings in lieu of the painted ones original to the truck, which were never galvanized, and rusting. I got some from Rovers North, and the rest from RDS. Good luck trying to find a windshield frame. If I were you, I'd march back into your galvanizer and demand your parts back.

Default Location of 109

I am located in The Dalles, Oregon which is about 90 miles east of Portland. Thanks for your comments. I have tried several times to recover my parts but "Charles" is ellusive as to their whereabouts. Apparently he is using an underground galvanizer. thanks again john

Or when they went into the galvanizer tank they warped like a pretzel and he does not want you to know they are useless.

Default Aha!

Many of us know of which gentleman??? you speak. You're probably right to just write the parts off and go buy the stuff somewhere else, and continue to do your business there.
