I have some ocean front property in Arizona as well if you are looking to waste your money....
think about it.. to improve your engine you use a ported head (ie, the inside of the intakes are polished, and bored) so that there is less turbulence in the system... now what exactly is the above doing... creating turbulance....

Vehicles I am learning about, that's why if I am unsure I ask
I do not believe the increase in MPG or getting a major turbo boost, but I was just curious about it. I read the *.pdf file they have on that site from LRW (Land Rover World) magazine where they put the item to the test... some marginal improvements at best for idling and mid range improvements.![]() |

what they said ^^^^....the mythbusters on the discovery channel did a test on all the increase MPG myths that were out there and found that there are no benefits to be seen in one tank of gas. who knows though maybe you save a cent or so? haha doubt anyone would find it worth it

That 1958 magazine also had the little magnets that you put on your fuel line to ionize the fuel or energize it for more complete combustion. Recently I've seen the same thing for sale- of course they claim it is a "NEW discovery yada yada yada..."

Don't do it. I bought one when I was gullable too. It's a Tornado about 4 years ago. I thought it worked in the Pathfinder I bought it for but I think it was the Huge After Market Air filter that made the improvement. Funny enough this fits in my '04 DII. Didn't notice a thing except what a PITA it was to fit into the ducting.
But think about it. Air comes in flows past the MAF (Disturbance) The Tornado in my case is just after the MAF. Then it has roughly a foot of pipe to travel through before it hits the throttle plate that is probalby just partially open at any given moment (distrubing the air). Best case scenario for this to work would be WOT and it still has the Trottle plate cuttin the swirling air in half distrubing the air again and slowing it down before it enters the chambers. I suspect it may be beneficial on on vehicles with longer intake ducting. Would probably work on an Accord That ducting it pretty straight and has about 3 ft of pipe to get through. It might work a little if place in a snorkle since the distance is so long and it would give the air a chance to swirl and speed up but it would eventually get slowed down by the Air Filter, MAF and the throttle plate, probalby leaving you no better than when you started, but I'm just guessing. I tossed mine somewhere in the garage. On the plus side you get the cool sticker. ![]()

if you add enough of these gas saving, power improving miricles, you could do 0 to 60 in 8sec and have more gas than when you left home this morning.
