How to make my landy sound throatier??? - Land Rovers Only

Hi, im just wondering... Apart from buying a larger engine is there anyway to get my Series 2A landy to sound any louder or throatier? As much as i want to buy a larger engine, im only 17 so i need to keep the insurance affordable, so is there any help any one can give me other than, "just rip all the exhaust off" thanks

different ait filter and big bore exhaust pipe just like the Corsa's and Saxoes.

You can get a mini back box to fit a lightwight not sure about a SII You can try.

When I has the starter motor off the other day I couldn't resist starting it up while the exhaust was disconected at the manifold. Boy was it loud.

Did the same thing once, started without the exaust. My neighbour is a biker, has a Harley Davidson. He actully came out into the street looking for the onther Harley that just started! Had a big joke on his expence.
