Just a general question on British Army 88 light weights,
1. Do they have exotic spare parts for servicing etc or anymore complication than normal SIII 88s/109s ( I live in Ireland ) 2. Would they be suitable for towing a two horses and a box as a back up to a discovery ( ie towing 2.5 tons approx) 3. What are the heaters like in them 4. Are there kits or is it hard to make them hardtops or is this sacrilage! |

2 - Providing the chassis is in good order, although with a 2.25 petrol engine it'd be slow going. 3 - Pants! Plus they are soft tops mostly! 4 - Uuuhhhh think that standard series hardtops fit on them although I am not 100% certain. Certainly seen Lwts with hardtops tho! You might get a better answer if you post a thread on this forum, I know there are alot of lwt owners and officiandos on there!
