Default Please Help

Hi everyone I have a 1984 Series 3 which has a wheel bearing gone, I got what is supposed to ne the correct bearing for it but on trying to fit it it is too small. I know that it is on a cross over year as it has rear lights of a 90 does anyone know if they may of put 90 wheel bearings in the front hubs?

Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you

Have to checked the "Green Bible"...other wise call Rovers North or Pacific British. Of Course Steve over at DAP should know too.

Is it the inner or the outer wheel bearing that does not fit.. there is 2 axle set ups for the Series III... pre 1980 and post 1980... the pre 1980 had 2 differnt sizes of wheel beaings, the outer (?) being smaller than the inner.. (that could be reversed, I forget which is smaller from when I flipped bearings..) and post 1980 when the wheel bearing are the same size.
One of two things could have happened. First, someone swapped full axle (assuming that you bought the wheel bearing kit for the post 1980 as your truck is an 1984, and I assume it is not a stage I). or secondly, they might have replaced the stub axles with the pre 1980 and hence you need the pre 1980 wheel bearing kit.
I suspect that this is what is going on..... the hub seal in the kit is probably the wrong size as well....
