Default Power steering

Any way around a double pulley crank pulley to do this power steering conversion? http://www.expeditionlandrover.info/PowerSteering.htm Thought about double alternator pulley and hook the steering pump up to it directly from aboveg. Any thoughts? If not, anybody have a used double pulley crank for a 2.25L Petrol that you will sell at a fair price?
Thanks,
Greg

The 8 blade military fan has the double pulley, thats what I use to run the PS pump. Should not be too hard to find. Try ebay, George at RDS or even get one from across the pond.

Default 8 blade military

That is an idea that makes a lot of sense. Much shorter belt than for crank pulley. What did the military use the second pulley for? George at RDS did not have a crank pulley. Didn;t know to ask about a military fan double pulley. None of the normal vendors have it listed. No surprise since they were never officially imported here.
If anyone has one you will sell, let me know.
Thanks,
Greg

My engine has a complete dual belt set up.
It maybe a military unit?
The crank, generator and water pump have 2 pulley grooves.

Default Alternator pulley

My alternator pulley already has two pulleys, but the diameter is small compared to the fan or crank pulley. It is about 1/3 the size of the fan or crank pulley - might be too small. Has anyone used a small sized pulley to run the PS pump? I have not purchased pump yet.
Thanks,
Greg

Rovers North had a bunch of ex MOD 5MB engines. Maybe they might have some bits laying about.

Default Good info & pics!

Thanks for all of the replies! I will start doing some more looking for the right parts. I'll post what we end up doing, but will be a few weeks, I suspect.
Any other pics, thoughts are welcome!
Thanks, Greg

If you can't find a double pulley call "Southview Services" in England, that's where I found mine. Talk to Bruce, helpful guy. # 011-44-1949-844-142. Just don't look at the shipping cost to get it here!!!
good luck.
