Default Protecting a new galvanized frame

The 83 '88' I bought has a recently installed Marsland frame. I'd like to keep it protected and was wondering what the best way to do this is. I know there is Waxoyl, but I've also read on this forum that some folks spray on Motor oil (with a bit of kerosene mixed in to thin out). I'd like to be able to see the galvanization on the frame and didn't really want to hide it under a black coating. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The chassis is galvanized inside & out. There is no need to coat it with anything. As a matter of fact, the galvanizing needs to be left bare in order to do its job.

It’s like jac04 say’s …… There’s no need to do anything other than maintain the chassis clear of built up dirt and debris. A decent hot dipped galvanized anything should last 20 years or more.
