Default Rovers North vs. Atlantic British Frames

Greetings,

I am new here and did some searching before posting this. I was wondering if anyone had experience with either the Rovers North or Atlantic British frames? I am looking to purchase a new frame for my 71 SIIa and was curious as to which company produced the better frame. I live in central PA, so shipping from either will be similar.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Cheers,
Ken

I know that DAP in Vermont sells galvanized chassis' and they are great to work with. They import the Richards Chassis' from the UK and I have read great reports on the quality and fit (they even re-drill all the holes to get rid of the excess galvanizing).

$2395

Same shipping amount I would assume since they are all located in the North East. Both Lou and Al are really friendly and helpful...give 'em a call.

Happy Valley! Cool Im from the same town. A couple of us series guys get together once in a while. This is a good site for central PA rover people too: ROVERS Club- Land Rovers, Discovery, D-90, Defender, Series, Freelander, Range Rover

Anyways, the AB and RN frames are both made by Marslands. RN also sells the richards chassis for about 200 cheaper than the marslands, but its not listed in their catalog.

The Marsland chassis is noted for a better fit. RN's price is $1999.00 and $1799.00 for the Richards version.
Check the quality of the welds and galv. before laying down the $$$$'s
