Default Screw On Wheel Studs

I have a 65 IIa w/screw in lug studs. The holes are stripped on a couple of them. Does any one have a sugestion for repair?

Can the holes be drilled andreplace screw ins w/ press fit studs?

I'm pretty sure the later splined studs will press in to the existing holes.

The later splined studs will press in but are too short because of the top hat section. They can be made to fit quite easily be making a counter bore in the back side of the hub. IIRC the top hat section on the later stud even has a tapered face on it so a standard drill bit does for making the counterbore.

On my hubs with screw in studs I put a tack weld on the rear face to stop them spinning.
