This may be of interest to you Series owners out there?

For the past 4-5 years I have been sporadically working on a website about the failings of our '78 Series 3 SWB

How come your fan intake is on the right hand side?

probably because it is a right hand drive!

No RHD motors have the intake on the left side.LHD motors have it on the Right the pedal box is in the way otherwise.
