Default Series II 88 chassis replacement

Hello:

I am new to the forum & have a 1960 series 88 that I want to restore. The chassis has the typical rust one would expect on a rover that was sprayed by a sprinkler for 17 years before I purchased it & frame was damage in a collision (a bit twisted).

I live in LA area and want to order a new frame but it looks like the only Rover part retailers that sell the chassis (from Richards or Marsland) are on the east coast. Does anyone know a supplier on west coast or have any (good) experiences having a chassis shipped? My chassis is not worth repairing because of the twisted frame.

Thanks

Eric

I live in Northern California and have some frames that are in good shape. Bring your rig up and I will do the job.

try stephen peters at Sales@safarirovers.com . He gets them shipped in from England and can probably beat the AB or RN prices even with shipping across the country. Good luck.

Smokey Mountain Man: I have the spare time and tools so I figure I will order a frame and do the work myself. What other work do you do....bulkhead repairs?
