By chance does anyone know the proper paint colour for a 1965 non-import diesel motor? Right now it is pretty much grease tinted

Looks like Detroit Diesel Alpine Green is the closest easy-to-find match.

Yes,,,, The Detroit diesel green is near about as close to Rover “duck egg blue” that you’ll find.

The motor on the left is Detroit green, on the right is Rover duck egg blue.
