Question SIII diesel air filter replacement upgrade?

Howdy,

I was wondering what air filter upgrades people have done for their diesel engines?

Since I do most of my driving in the city, I was thinking of a K&N filter for the city, and when I do some trails and off road driving using the original oil/air filter. I was thinking a K&N for the usual city driving (seen some people with cones, and others with the generic K&N).

What types of filter have you upgraded to (please include part# and a picture if you can)?

Thanks

What possible advantage would you be seeking by having 2 different air filters? Keep the oil bath filter.

Probably an extra horse or two. I ended up putting ATF in my oil bath for a while, which seemed to help a little, especially in the cold. Make sure you don't over fill an oilbath or power will suffer however. In the end I gutted a spare oil bath and put a Saab 5000 paper filter inside it.
