Default Solex advice please

I really want to keep the Solex Carb on the Landy. Everything else is stock and it seems a shame to change it out but I'm a bit stuck. I've replaced all the seals, gaskets, etc and everything seems to be working fine but...I don't get any fuel into the throat of the carb. I've checked and there is good pressure to the banjo fitting. And I've run the pump with the top plate off to check that there is fuel through and that the needle valve works. The float is fine, the bowl is full of fuel but I get nothing into the throat. Any ideas what the logical next step would be? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? This is frustrating!

Thanks,

Dave

you probably have clogged jets and pathways in the carb. Find a local carb shop and get them to dip it and blow it out. Do not push anything down the pathways. When you had it apart, were the jets clear? How long was it sitting since it last worked? How many fuel filters do you have on the truck?

Leaks have stopped after lots of fiddling and a broken condenser wire (now fixed) have solved pretty much everything. It now starts and runs fine...music to my ears!
