Default Someone got what seems to be a great deal!

Wow! I almost bid just so I could take out the Fairey overdrive and resell the Landy. Just didn't have the spare cash or time. Somebody lucked out.

Blimey, that was cheap, the overdrive alone is £250 in UK. Should have robbed a bank!!

You never know- a Fairey that needs to be rebuilt isn't worth much, and many of them have been run dry etc. Never trust a single picture of a Series- they usually look good even if they're only worth $75.
Looks to be a good deal even if it was good just for parts though.

That was about it was worth in Oz. $500 to $1,000 for something that is going is about what they go for.

The only people that want them are those that may restore it. With the non-genuine motor, etc, the market is pretty limited.
