Default tire size?

Hello everyone!

Since my brakes are healing to the point that I'm making longer trips from my house, it's time to get a new set of tires. What would be the modern tire size translation for a set of 15 inch factory rims? I'm mostly going to tow the truck behind my camper & then use it for exploring back forest roads, etc. Oh, and I intend to put the spare back on the hood.
Best regards,

Default

I have 235-85-15's on my '71 and work well all around. My '63 has 30-10.50-15's, this truck has not been driven by me. The tires on the '63 are wider and taller than the '71 but it has the lower compression motor = less horsepower? I think that the 235 tire is perfect with the 2 leaf parabolic springs. With the low horsepower in a Series truck I think less tire is more to a certain extent.
