Default Water Gauge

Does anyone know of an aftermarket water temp gauge that would work for a 67 rover? I have the original in, but would like to put a gauge in that has the actually numbers listed on it so I know how hot it is running. I have tried one from a parts store, but the threads did not fit in the block. Thanks

VDO makes some that will fit, at least they used to. Smiths was OEM so they will too.
Depends on whether you want electrical or mechanical. If it were me I'd look for a dual water temp/oil pressure gauge. The were OE on the early Series.

Default Water gauge

British Pacific has a dualie(water temp/oil press) listed right on the front page of the
Series parts' section with a pic.Does have numbers. You'll probably have to call 'em....their 'price check' doesn't work. Believe it was a Smith. Nice unit! Pressure tube for oil is seperate.....
Regards,
Jeff

Default 'out of stock at BP'.........

Same here.....just takes me longer to catch on I guess.
Hehehe...didn't associate the two things at all. Will ask next time I order.
Makes perfect sense.......these computing things are just too much. Ya don't even have to count or spell anymore.
