Default 1990 Classic with brake and elec issues Help!!

It runs good and goes down the road but, does not like to stop. I have been browsing looking for brake info but I have been unable to locate the info I need. 1st off I do not hear the brake pump at all. I do not know the location of the relay or fuses for that. 2nd I need to run a hot wire to the + side of the coil to get it to start.
Thanks for any help you can give and this is a great site.

Check all your ground straps. There's three I think. One over there by the coil.
Positive to the coil? And it runs okay like that?
Lots of brake stuff on my site.

I have been on your site. Gathering a ton of info 2 great sites. It will only run with the postive wire hooked up to the plus side of the coil.

So have you taken those wires off and replaced them with new wires?
As you saw on my site those wires can get corroded and look connected when they actually aren't.

I just got done doing that and I no longer need to jump the coil from the battery. Knocking things out 1 at a time. The darn brakes are not cooperating. I can't bleed fluid from anything. When that pump deciedes to cycle it sounds like a turkey call. It only cycled twice for about 3-5 secs at a time and then stops.

I hate to tell ya but it might be shot. Ask Paul Grant if he has a spare or call Rover Cannibal. New ones are expensive.
