Hi. I am about to pull the trigger on the following: 1990 Range Rover County. 147,000 miles. No leaks. Interior very clean, no rips or excessive wear to carpet or leather seats. Fairly shiny black original paint, with a few minor dings with paint intact. About 95% on exterior. All mechanical, electrical and A/C working normally. About to pay $2200.00. Deal or no deal? Thanks. Ken.

be sure to check both the front floor boards rear outside seat belt lower mounts the load space floor and the front inner fenders around the coil area. Those are some major rust areas off the top of my head. Check for fluid leaks and expect them. If you see no leaks make sure it has fluid in it. be sure to check the swivel balls and hubs. Be very thorough on the inspection and take a friend that knows cars and could really care less if you get a rover. That tends to help keep things in perspective lol
![]() sorry for the bad typing my two year old is helping lol.

If everything checks out including the electrical items $2200 isn't bad, but I'd offer closer to $1500 and work up from there but I'm a cheap bastard

as a west coast owner myself, i understand the no rust thing, my 89 has a little tiny spot of rust on the rear hatch and a little bit on the brushgaurd but other than that , none, i grew up in the northeast and know how salt eats cars. salt air from the ocean has the same effect if its from a misty pacific coastal town, but to a much lesser degree, i bought mine from pacifica, ca. an incredibly dark and damp little town right on the coast, i blame what little rust it has on the salt air from the ocean. By the way, that sounds like a great deal to me, given its in such nice shape and with pretty much everything working. i'd pay that, i only payed 800 for my rangie but she didn't run at the time, and still needs a heater core.
