Cool

Talked with Mr Paul Grant this evening. Told me to check the underseat code reader. Voila, Code 25 -Engine misfire. I have to remove the cover full and see if there is any others. Thanks Paul, hopefully we will be back in the saddle shortly, Beats going to a Rover Rip-air station or Rover Stealer anyday.

Think that might have something to do with oil quality? Ya think, Mate?

Are you stalking now. You open up a thread that has been dead for over a month in an attempt to duplicate your pathetic arguments across multiple threads. Has nothing to do with quality of oil. Happens in motors using all sorts of oils. It is just a known problem. Next you will be blaming slipped liners, broken axles, driver's side lean, short life MAF units, EAS issues, and any number of common rover issues on the oil used.

That's right, you are convinced that things will NEVER wear out if you use the right oil. Is that the Snake brand of oil?

Do you read what you type. Lubricated internal engine parts wearing prematurely has nothing to do with the qaulity of oil!

Dude, stop, your just fighting to fight now.

It has EVERYTHING to do with oil quality...

Your an idiot!!. The fault with cams has to do with engine design. It does not matter what oil you use. It happens with a large range of oil brands. Using the wrong oil can cause it to fail quicker, but good oil will not prevent it from happening.

But of course you think that everything that goes wrong with an engine can be prevented with the right oil. You just refuse to say what this miracle oil is that allows a motor to last forever.
