90 RR needs exhaust (?) -any aftermarket suggestions? - Land Rovers Only

My rr has what sounds like an exhaust leak somewhere near the cat. It has 105,000 miles on it, so I'm guessing a new muffler and cat would be a good idea. Anyone go the route of having a muffler shop put on a new exhaust on one of these? I'm new to the rr's, so I don't know if my friendly neighborhood muffler shop can do this, or is there a 'special' lr exhaust piece I would need?
I'd like to get a free flowing cat and muffler put on.

At 105,000 miles I was tightening my bolts because of an exhaust leak.
Did you check to make sure they were snug?

i have a 91 RRC with 189K miles. i had the following done a couple months ago.
-new OEM LR muffler bought off the internet
-was installed by local muffler repair shop and since it was OEM, it went in easily
-new pipe from muffler back to bumper; threw away the resonator can just before the bumper and havent noticed any difference
-replaced the rubber seals that are used to connect the R and L exhaust manifolds to the R and L sides of the Y-pipe/Cat assembly. Doing this eliminated the rich-gasoline exhaust smell I was getting on startup and significantly quieted the engine noise. those rubber fittings were basically gone so it sounded like rattling every time i gave it gas.

I recently put in new cats and a flowmaster on a 91 RR that i flipped. The mexican muffler shop here used the existing Y pipe and welded in new cats.. he used some old pipe and some new pipe. The whole thing cost me $450.00. If you need new cats then i would reccomend buying a STOCK replacment Y pipe and cats, and then putting in a single Magneflow center muffler, with straight pipe back from there... save your money on a high dollar exhaust. If you get a mild steel muffler try and get a hold of it a few days before and spray it with some hi temp paint to protect it.. That kept my rusty old flowmaster alive for years ....

My partner had headers installed on his 91 RR along with two high flow cats from Summit Racing ($59.95 each) and a Flowmaster muffler (mid section) and straight pipe in the back. We also had a customers D90 setup the same way, the cost for welding the cats and muffler was $300 here in the NE.
