Hello all.
I am new to this forum and I thought I'd post a question about my '92 Rover County Keyless Entry problem. Thanks in advance for any input. Put plainly, the keyless system does not work and I want to find out where I should start. The little light on the fob lights up when I push it but the security/locks do not activate. Any suggestions on where I should start? The fuses look fine. Thanks! Christian on Vashon Island |

Hey, I'm no security expert or even novice, but I've heard people talking about reprogramming their fob to match the rover, I guess you could try that and see if maybe the code was lost or something, this is the link with the directions from a previous post here:
95 LWB Programming Remote... Help! good luck... Mike

Hi,
I just aquired a 95 and mine does the same thing. I have read about re programming the key fobs, and having someone hold in the detent switch under the hood, and cycling the ignition switch and stuff, but i dont know if it is a "programming" problem. The other problem that I have is the ability to lock all the doors on my Rover has been stripped from me. Maybe these problems are common with each other. I dont know? |

Open the remote and make sure the security chip is still in the connection.
ON occasion I drop mine and the chip comes out. Just slip it back in and see what happens. |
