'95 LWB Check Engine Light - Land Rovers Only

On my way home today my Check Engine light came on. It's not flickering on/off, just stays on. Does anybody know what could trigger this? Also, is is safe to still drive ?

what is your mileage? -the light will come on at certain intervals as a reminder to have something done or checked... if not that, someone else can tell you how to check your codes- I don't know on a 95
