ABS Code - Land Rovers Only

I recently got an ABS error. I used a jumper and got the code that the brake light switch was failing. Which it did completely about 3 days later. I now have a new switch.
While following the procedure to clear the code which simply states pulling the jumper while the code is blinking it does not clear the code.

Does anyone have an idea how to clear the code?

In the past I've cleared codes just by disconnecting the battery for @ 5 minutes.

I didn't try 5 minutes. 1 minute but not 5.

When you repair something on the ABS system, the ABS light should reset itself (unlike the Check engine which has to be reset). So if you're still getting the light, something else might be broken.(Might be more than 1 code stored)

In step 11 and beyond it tells you how to clear the current code and go to the next. I hope this helps ya!

Okie, My ABS light was on for 110K miles. One day I thought I would investigate. I had no problem. To reset, Jumper must be removed with Ingition ON. < The Jumper is the one you put on the plu under driver seat.>

I was putting in the jumper, turning ignition on, then off, remove jumper.

My 1991 did not reset automatically. Removing battery clears EFI codes not ABS.
