Does that apply to the twist on/off front tweeters? Mine are shot and I've not been able to find replacements. But maybe it's easier than I thought... Joey

when i bought mine i went to the Audio store. thats all they do all day is speakers and they said with the ones i bought they had a tweeter wired right into them so i would no longer need my stock ones. you can simply unscrew them and put tape over the tabs to keep them from making a connection. or you can just leave them if they sound alright.... i just left mine alone for the time being. thinking of ordering some new 8 inch subs to replace the stock ones... after 14 years the stock subs are surprisingly not tooooo bad but should be replaced IMO.
