Default Air suspension on my 95 RRC

Hi, sorry I posted to the wrong area first but..

Well, I left the office today and hopped in the rover. My lift switches blink for thirty seconds and the dash indicator stays illuminated. I drove for about twenty minutes, and finnaly heard the compressor kick in, but the switches stayed constantly lit, and it would not take any input.

Whats going on??

It's asking for a 5" RoverTym lift.

I don't remember.

My 1995 RRC swb got funky in the EAS. I know I bought OME Medium springs and Bilstein shocks, and with selling all my EAS stuff on eBay and on the RRO list I actually made money.

Look up the RoverTym website, they have kits for different lift levels. Or call Bill at Great Basin Rovers in Utah, I've purchased from him a few times and he really knows his stuff.

Installation was done by a great rover mechanic Rob Dassler in Albuquerque, NM the owner of Southwest Rovers. But I can't remember it being too dear. But the more lift the more parts the more $ to install.

My 5" lift comment, was kind of a joke about me... I did the OME on my 1995 then bought a 4" lifted 1992 with 33" tires because I'm obsessive about everything. All the projects money and time I could have saved by doing a big lift from soup to nuts from the start.

I appreciate the help guys. I have a mechanic that does work for me on occasion at my house, he charges me thirty an hour, and hes been good so far with things like brakes, rotors, etc.-what would you estimate the complexity level on a coil change over?

Thanks

Buy a RTE 3" lift and make your 95 look like this!

Default air tank use

I have seen people get rid of the EAS but keep the compressor and air tank with a coil up air line to use like an air receiver tank. What needs to be done to do this???

http://rangerovers.net/outfitting/air/airsupply.html

The stock compressor is kinda weak for bigger tires.

Im in Centre County, State College area. The lift by itself was maybe $1000 or so. If you go higher than a 2" lift, you have to buy driveshafts, corrected arms, brake lines, etc etc.

You should join http://www.roversclub.org/ Lots of PA folk!

Does the round about 1000.00 dollar price tag account for the new brakelines, adjusted arms and drive shafts etc?

Where did you get your snorkel?

Thx

No 1G is not enough for all that.
