My 94 Classic w/ 3.9's alarm is screwy.
After locking... any and everything sets the alarm off. I have the key fob but was never able to get it to work, new batteries, 're-program' procedure yada yada yada Well my question: Has anyone pulled the entire alarm system out with out reprocussion? Is it just as easy as unplugging the alarm ECU? I currently just hold the key locked for 8 seconds to disable the alarm and just lock the truck, but thats a pain when I really rather not have the alarm. |

I know it is possible..I don't have an alarm at all on mine, nor do I have a key fob for the electric locks...... All I use is a copy of the original key... No problems yet.
