I also called them several times and left messages on some answering machine, and Never got a return call.
How big an outfit are they? I have heard of several using their starters, but haven't heard squat about any alternators used on Rovers |

You could do the VW bosch alternator swap. I've picked one up but have yet to put it in. I know a few others have done it with ease and success.
http://www.3dzubehor.com/Rover/Boschalternator.html Or there's this one from Roverconnection that I was looking at in the past. Don't really know anything about it except it's 140 amp for $220. http://www.roverconnection.com/Parts/alternator.htm

I bought rebuilt one on ebay with no exchange needed. It has been going for hmmm 6 months now.
The good part was it cost less than 100 bucks. If you want me to look up the seller, let me know. |

Anyone know the specs for the amperage output for an RRC like mine, which is a 94 LWB with the 4.2L? I was looking all over the alternator one day, never to find the specs for it. I will be doing a load test on the charging system, and will need that spec. Thanks!

Is this decent enough to handle huge electrical loads, like a winch?
