I don't know yet. Just need to find where the OEM wiring comes out first.

It's under the truck. Just get under and look, you should be able to find it.

I wanted to rewire the trail plug in and then i was looking at my LR 6 disc changer and found that the PO hooked up a uhaul plugin!!! sweet i did not have to do anything.

FOUND IT! Thank you!
Had to remove the tail light, it was tucked up in there. Now to splice in the new connector.

Are the classics set up for a 7 wire system? Do they I have a controller built in somewhere? I wouldn't imagine but thought I'd ask.

I don't know. All i know is that it is a round plug, and I need a rectangle plug. Are there any kits out there that convert?

the LR trail wires came in 7. u can buy the convertor that goes from 7 to 4 and etc. if i remember i have the 4 wire system which i think is the most common one. the po switched from 7 to 4 by using a U-haul convertor, were u can get at any U-haul stores/pick up spots. also u can get them at auto shops and etc.
i drilled off my old LR 7 holder on the bumper and just keep the trail plug under my right side cargo cover (sub/ amp located) were it stays out of the elements.
