Default Anyone know this RRC?

New to Rangies, looking at a '90 RRC, 3rd owner w/85k miles. Some nice work done, rough interior.

I'm finding a few drops of coolant at the bottom of the front of the block, can't locate the source? I need to get it pressure tested, but any thoughts on where to look first off? Heater core was replaced not too long ago, could that have anything to do with it?

I'm thinking of losing the body lift and going a bit smaller on the tires, it's done ~2k miles with the full lift it has. Any areas I can check for likely damage done by the lift?

Thanks all! Some pics.

Where is that truck located?

I think that one was in Central Texas if I remember correctly. I liked it, but I never looked at it personaly. I would have been more interested if I hadn't of bought one a few weeks prior! As far as the leak goes, MORE than likely it is from the water pump! $150.00 part, takes a few hours to install, no big deal! What does he want for the truck?

Yep, it's in Central Texas, been here its entire life. He's asking $6k, haven't gotten into how firm he is on the price. He seems like an honest guy, has a Mini and a LR3 as well.

Why do you want to take the lift off??? If you don't want one with a lift, buy another one, I know it would be cheaper too!! However for the "goodies" and the low miles on the truck, it is a faily good price. But IMHO, I never buy for the asking price! I would offer $5000.00 if you really want it! He has been trying to sell it for 6months!
BTW, I paid a good penny for mine, had no goodies, but had only 56000miles, and NO RUST!! I had to change the water pump a few weeks later too!

Well I'd keep the suspension lift but ditch the body lift. And definitely negotiate on the price. This one's rust free as well but definitely not mint like yours! Nice ride!! There's a couple of Discos I'm looking at that are stock and mint but who hasn't lusted after a Rangie all their life

That's good info that he's been selling for 6 months, thanks for the input.

AHH!! Take the body lift off, I see!! Yeah, well, I may do that too! Hey what ever you get, you have to come join us some times. We have some great events comming up. I know it is hard to have time to do them all. It is for me! I would really have considered buying it if I hadn't of bought mine a few weeks earlier!! It has all the mods I want!! Low miles, and no rust!! Best of luck! I had a D1 for 4yrs, partly own a DII(GF) and now have the RRC. I think out of all I love the RRC the best!! I just want the locking diff instead of a viscous clutch on the transfer case!

If you take off the body lift you will have to replace the bumper, thats an RTE bumper designed for the 2 inch body lift and also the rear bumper is and they won't work without a body lift. It's too much of a hassle to take off, plus why would you want to remove lift thats already there?

Went with another vehicle, this is still available if anyone's interested. It's located in Round Rock, just north of Austin. If you search Austin craigslist you should find the info. Thanks for everyone's input!
