Default back window washer fluid not working

i have a '93 lwb, my RR rear window washer fluid does not spray out any fluid, but the arm works. i looked at the back of the washer fluid holding tank were the 2 pumps (front/back) are located. the fluid stopped at the non-return valve (i looked at my dad's '91 RR and his fluid filled both sides of the non-return valve) so i bought a new non-return valve ($2.00), cheap starting point, but no fluid still goes past the valve. my question is, do i need to buy a new pump, because the pump is not pushing fluid past the non-return valve? my dad and i are going to check to see if any current is going through the pump. anyone have a good tip or 2? thanks

Try blowing some pressure thru the line, and or clean the nozzle. The pumps will also plug up from sediment build up in the water bottle. Might want to pull the hose from the pump and try the pump, may clean itself out.
If and when you do get it fixe, rinse out the bottle and start with some fresh fluid.

thanks for all the tips. some fun wkend projects w/ my dad. it could be the pump not pushing out fluid through the other side of the non-return valve near the pump?
