I am considering chopping the rear of my 94 RRC. Has anyone here done this before, and if so do you have any advise?
Being a 94 my Rover is a 4 door and I want to retain the use of all of them. Checked out the web and found some very tidy units and some back yard 'shady tree' Rovers that are not so nice. I am not 100% sure I want to do this or not at the moment, loosing load space for greater departure angles is a tough one for me. The Rover is a trail project and I am in no hurry, I just want to make sure that when I am done the unit is all that I need it to be. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. ![]()

Here's a detailed somewhat step by step of a 1995 Disco I that was used in the Outback Challenge. The general idea (removal of a vehicles butt) is the same, obviously details will differ. It should give a good idea of what you'd be in for.

That is a good vid I saw it a few weeks ago when I was considering turning my parts Rover into a pick up truck rover.
