I have a leak on the passenger side of my swivel ball on my 92 RRC. I looked under there to see what was going on, and noticed that there are 3 deep scratches in them. I was just going to re-seal it, but I think I am just going to replace it. There is 142k miles on the car and they are probably original. Is it alright to buy a used one, as long as it is in good condition, or should I just get a new one? Thanks

I just listed a swivel ball for an ABS equipped Rover on eBay. The opening bid is $49.99. The swivel is about as close to perfect as you are likely to find in a used part.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...205018814&rd=1 It was taken from a 1997 Discovery but will fit an ABS equipped Range Rover Classic. Let me know if you want me to end the auction early. Cheers, Paul |

No problem Nick. I usually have over 300 items for sale on eBay and that reflects only a portion of all the parts I have on hand. If you need anything in the future just give me a call.

Oh yeah, I have another question. When I put everything back together, do I have to buy a gasket, or would it be okay to use a hightemp RTV sealer? Has anyone used a sealer, or does everyone just go with a gasket? Thanks
